Recently awarded Aberdeen City & Shire Hospitality Employer of the Year, as well as 2 Michelin Keys, and rated number 1 by Conde Naste Readers Choice, The Fife Arms Hotel, located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, is recruiting a Head Bartender to join the team in Elsa's Cocktail Bar.
An exquisite jewel box, Elsa's Cocktail Bar brings Art Deco glamour to the Highlands. Inspired by fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli's signature style, love of shocking pink and "bon mots", this bijou bar offers champagne and hand-crafted cocktails that are beautifully presented. The perfect spot for a pre-prandial aperitif or a late-night digestif, the bar showcases Scottish spirits and elixirs.
You will play an integral role as part of our close-knit team providing high quality drinks, exceptional service and creating the best experience for our guests. Your experience allows you to work closely with the team, exceeding the expectation of our guest's experience in every aspect of their stay so that they leave us feeling enriched and engaged in our ethos.
Expectations
Our successful Head Bartender will have :
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender / Mixologist within a similar boutique hospitality environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and cocktail trends.
- Initiative, emotional intelligence and strong communication and organisation skills.
- Experience of training, coaching and mentoring others.
- A passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences.
- A willingness to work to the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
The Team has been chosen for their creative flair and passion for both Cocktails and World Class service with a desire to consistently learn and grow.
