Position: Order Processing & Customer Service Specialist
Location: Hackensack, NJ (Onsite)
Role Overview:
As a key member of our operations team, you will process customer orders, ensure compliance with major retailers, and work with ERP & EDI systems to keep everything running smoothly. You will also collaborate with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process customer orders efficiently through ERP (NetSuite) and EDI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with retailer requirements, including order accuracy, deadlines, and routing guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability before processing orders.
• Work closely with our warehouse and logistics partners to ensure timely shipments and pickups.
• Coordinate with customers regarding revisions, back-orders, and shipping extensions.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies and maintaining accurate customer records.
• Collaborate with the technology team to streamline administrative tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience processing orders for large retailers preferred.
• Proficient in ERP software (NetSuite a plus) and EDI order processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis preferred).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a dynamic team.
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments and deadlines.
• Possesses strong attention to detail, follow up skills and can easily adapt to challenging customer requests and mandates
• Ability to maintain accurate digital records and follow company guidelines in a paperless office environment.
