Overview

Dishwasher will need to learn how to prep and prepare food for kitchen cook and hibachi chefs
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients to support kitchen staff.
- Help with bussing tables by clearing away dirty dishes and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use during busy service times.
- Follow food safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
