Position Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fireplace Installer Apprentice. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of installing prefabricated fireplaces under the guidance of experienced installers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn a valuable trade.
Responsibilities :
- Assist experienced installers with all aspects of fireplace installation, including :
- Carrying and handling materials
- Installing fireboxes, surrounds, and other components
- Cleaning up the job site after installation is complete
- Learn about different types of fireplaces and their installation requirements
- Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs)
- Comfortable working at heights (climbing ladders, working on roofs)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Construction experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
