We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within The Firs.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes during busy periods
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times

Skills

• Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Prior experience in the hospitality or food service industry is a plus
• Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is a bonus
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area

Schedule

• Weekend shifts for meals in the spring
• Weekday shifts beginning mid-June through end of August
• Shifts typically 4 hours in length
