Job Summary:

The Tuition Management/Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be a Christian who is responsible for managing all aspects of tuition and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with organizational policies. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual skilled in accounts receivable processes, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Florida state scholarship administration, particularly through Step Up For Students, is essential. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee student tuition accounts using FACTS Financial software, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Administer Florida state scholarships through Step Up For Students. Ensure compliance with all scholarship guidelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform weekly cash deposits and ensure all payments are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile credit card processing transactions to bank deposits and prepare monthly cash receipts entry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tuition- and scholarship-related inquiries from families.
  • Support audits by preparing and providing accounts receivable and scholarship documentation.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Finance with other tasks, as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Evidence a mature personal Christian faith consistent with the First Academy Statement of Faith including being a born-again Christian, active Church member, exhibiting a close personal walk with Jesus Christ: modeling an exemplary Biblical lifestyle, and evidencing maturity in the understanding and integration of sound Biblical principles in classroom instruction and personal counseling.
  • Present a positive image of the school to others and to the community.
  • Working understanding of accounts receivable functions.
  • Well-organized and self-directed individual who exhibits a high level of integrity that inspires trust and confidence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, incorporating the appropriate level of diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner and effectively partner and collaborate with others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to school/employee matters.
  • Proficient with using technology including Apple products, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google. Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with MIP/Abila and FACTS Financial preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • or a related area preferred.
