Description:

Responsible for providing extraordinary service to internal and external customers. Serve as subject matter expert for debit card and online banking related customer service and bank issues, and for business and consumer products. Coordination of all debit card related projects to include 8 Digit BIN, contactless debit cards, and funds transfer. Provide support for all day-to-day operations in the payment operations area. Coordination of all online banking related projects to include new consumer and business product offerings and online banking maintenance or updates.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for Mastercard and Pulse administration.
  • Responsible for new debit card processing and maintenance on existing debit card relationships.
  • Responsible for daily requests and support with debit card transactions, debit card controls, travel notices, support for fraud cases with Fraud Analyst, fraud alerts, MyCardRules, digital wallet, card declines and troubleshooting.
  • Respond to a high volume of phone calls, emails, secure messages and written requests for service.
  • Troubleshoot/research transactions with customers and employees; determine debit card decline reasons.
  • Onboard/demonstrate debit card online banking system to internal and external customers.
  • Determine delivery issues for fraud alerts and resolve accordingly.
  • Partner as needed with fraud cases.
  • MyCardRules user and digital wallet (Apple, Google and Android) maintenance.
  • Process monthly debit card order.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all debit card related projects to include 8 Digit BIN, contactless debit cards, and funds transfer.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all online banking related projects to include any new consumer and business product offerings and online banking maintenance or updates.
  • Perform online banking maintenance per Workflow requests, complete online banking Business enroll requests.
  • Generate and maintain online banking vendor tickets through the Q2 portal.
  • Complete customer maintenance in CheckFree/Bill Pay and track the CheckFree Client Connect statistics.
  • Maintain the Q2 system maintenance and holiday notifications.
  • Monthly/quarterly statistics and reporting for debit cards and online banking.
  • Support daily as backup to wires and online banking.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • In the performance of respective tasks and duties, this position must maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security, and Bank policies and procedures.

The employee is also expected to maintain a commitment to continuing education in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside training opportunities in all applicable banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is expected, and appropriate attire is required at all times, while either performing job functions or representing the Bank at outside events and activities.
Requirements:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of directly related experience in financial operations or banking.

Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to diplomatically, yet effectively, communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of Bank staff, customers and other related parties in person and on telephone.
  • Demonstrated listening skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to use 10-key calculator by touch.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
