What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Flagstaff House Restaurant?
The Flagstaff House Restaurant in Boulder, CO is looking to fill a Bartender & Server position.
Essential Job Functions
- Nightly wine service: have very strong product knowledge and be able to perform the sale and service of all the beverage products following the Flagstaff House Restaurant service standards, must serve alcohol responsibly
- Work closely with the bartending team and develop seasonal cocktail menus
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Overall positive demeanor and be hospitable by nature
- Someone who seeks growth in our field of hospitality and seeks depth of knowledge pertaining to all libations.
- Strong food and wine pairing knowledge, and ability to create a wine/food tasting menu
Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant and wine program experience is a must
- Ability to work well with a team
- Physical Demands: must be able to carry cases of wine (up to 50 lbs), and stay on feet for several hours
- Must have flexible schedule, and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Fine dining experience preferred.
