Front of House Manager responsibilities include:
- Provide positive dining experiences for each guest
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employee candidates that will be beneficial to the restaurant operation
- Coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action for employees
- Control costs and minimize waste in beverage program by utilizing portion control, recipes, and monitoring quality
- Upholding and maintaining safety and sanitation standards as defined by state regulations
- Reconciling and addressing all guest issues with a positive attitude and customer retention focus
- Manage and schedule front of house employees including servers, server assistants, hosts, and hostesses
- Perform opening and closing cash handling duties including daily reporting of restaurant performance
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Preferred college degree in Culinary Management or Restaurant Management)
