The Float Zone is looking for the ideal candidate to join us as a float spa associate. If you are a self-starter, fast learner, can multi-task, have a keen attention to detail, have an outgoing personality that loves interacting and helping people, (a big part of what makes our center popular)and enjoys cleaning, then please reach out to us. An interest in floating helps but if not, we will educate you on the ins and outs of floating.
This is a part-time position for Thursday 10:30 to 6pm and Friday 11am - 6pm, and some weekend fill-ins . It is perfect for those with flexibility, students, or individuals looking for a change from other service-related industries.
Responsibilities include:
-Guiding new and return clients through their float experience. Must have great customer service and great telephone and communication skills. Must have prior sales experience or is willing to learn. Must be able to handle any customer service questions/issues with a positive and courteous attitude to insure our google 4.9 rating.
-Cleaning. Maintaining our precious float tanks daily is necessary and you will learn how to best care for the tanks and tank rooms between floats and at the end of the day. Maintaining the cleanliness our entire center prior and during floats including laundry.
-Basic computer work such as scheduling, checking out clients (must have good math and spelling skills), and operating the float tanks- (will train).
- Periodic mailing promotional material and filing.
- Interacting with teammates during shifts and being able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm spa atmosphere.
Relevant Work Experience:
-Customer service, restaurant, sales experience, or prior multi-service spa experience.
-PC/Mac experience.
-Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
