Description
The Floating Hospital, founded in 1866, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Long Island City, Queens. We provide primary medical, dental, mental health and health education services to all, regardless of financial, insurance or legal status. The Floating Hospital is one of the largest providers of medical services to homeless families and victims of domestic violence in NYC.
- Keep health education data tracking organized and up to date.
- Input relevant data from the workday, such as class, trivia, and out of clinic workshops.
- Inventory and complete in-kind donation forms for all donations received by the health education department.
- Organize, track, and scan health education credit card and petty cash receipts.
- Aid in the organization of health education camp forms.
- Keep inventory of health education and early education supplies and update our purchasing list.
- Aid in the scheduling of school and community workshops.
- Prepare, send and follow-up on all workshop invoices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Education.
The Health Education Administrative Assistant will participate as a member of a group of professionals, dedicated to delivering comprehensive, holistic health education services to at-risk children, adolescents and the community.
