Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing carpet, luxury vinyl, hardwood, tile, laminate and sheet vinyl in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties:
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Install carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile flooring
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring materials
- Apply adhesives, nails, staples, or other fasteners to secure flooring
- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials for a clean and professional look
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Clean up work area and dispose of waste materials properly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction painting, buffing, caulking, blueprint reading, maintenance person skills, carpentry, trim carpentry, power tools, and water damage restoration is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others

Pay: $17.45 - $25.00 per hour
