Summary function : Responsible for performing a variety of complex duties involving management and identification of needed business system solutions. Recommends course of action and assists IT in the development of business systems solutions for Lawyer Regulation.
Required minimum education : Bachelor's Degree with concentration in the area of business administration (proof of degree required at interview). Progressively responsible related experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
Required minimum professional work experience : Three (3) years of business administration, project management or similar experience with two (2) years experience in computer systems administration.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Responsible for management and administration of The Florida Bar's Lawyer Regulation Case Management Systems including document imaging. Coordinate project development and implementation with IT Department. Update the case management system due to rule changes, changes in staff and bar counsel, as well as troubleshooting the performance of the system, including evaluation and testing of all new versions and enhancements prior to implementation. Compile disciplinary reports / case progress reports from the case management system at the direction of Division Director or Staff Counsel. Update templates used by bar staff at the direction of the Division Director or Staff Counsel in response to changes in rules, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for training Lawyer Regulation Division employees on efficient use of the case management system. Responsible for processes, procedures and documentation required for training Lawyer Regulation Division employees related to the case management system.
Ensure accuracy of documents prior to posting disciplinary records to The Florida Bar's website for access by the public.
