Job Summary:
Florida Panthers Hockey gameday and venue audio/video technical support
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up/break down AV equipment for hockey, basketball, functions, concerts, and events
- In-depth understanding of sound system setups for events, meetings, and press conferences
- Wireless microphone (RF) knowledge and operation, including hand held and lavalier mics
- Hockey scoring system, OES controller setup & operation, goal lights and basketball shot clocks
- IMAG setup, screens, projectors, interfacing with clients and in-house functions
- Gameday camera setups, ClearCom intercom experience, all TV’s and menu displays in arena
- Technical support for the NHL, Bally’s, ESPN, Game presentation, and sponsor needs
- Coordination with part-time A/V staff with providing instruction, direction, and training
- Have the ability to work at any or all of our properties as mentioned
Qualifications:
- Understanding of audio signal flow in a typical sound system. Dante, Crestron and Q-SYS a plus
- Excels in cable management, labeling, and organizing A/V equipment
- Experienced using tools, drills, mounting hardware, cable construction, forklifts, scissor lifts, ladders for TV installs and other projects
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, as well as writes clearly and informatively
- Able to interpret drawings, blueprints, and function setup instructions
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required. 2 years of telecom experience preferred but not required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
