Job Summary:
Box Office Representative - Responsible for selling tickets, distributing tickets, and providing excellent customer service to Amerant Bank Arena guests. Requires proper handling of cash and credit card transactions. This role requires availability on nights and weekends.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in processing all concert/event/hockey orders assisting patrons
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures in relation to processing internal, group, and premium sales orders
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and customers as well as internal staff.
- Work closely and complete duties as assigned by Management
- Assist Sales and Service Representatives with questions and troubleshooting ticketing issues
Qualifications:
- Requires proven customer service abilities, experience with computer processing
- Experience working with cash and cash handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
- Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of ticketing software preferred, but not required
Work Environment:
This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable – often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a Part-Time non-exempt hourly position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.
