Experienced Floral Designer
The Flower Bucket is looking for a positive and outgoing self-starter to fill the position of part-time Floral Designer. Experience is required. Further training and support will be provided in order to transform this person's style into what is suitable for The Flower Bucket's customers and vision. We are looking for someone who can be an asset to our team and is ready to be hands-on with production on the design floor. This individual will also help in customer service when necessary: inputting orders, answer phones, and interacting with customers or in delivery if needed. They will be tasked with keeping themselves and other staffers on task and productive. Designing is the main responsibility. Wages will be based on experience, speed, and skills.
Hours: 8-20 hours per week. You must be available every Saturday & Sunday. We expect your schedule to be every Saturday and Sunday. Total hours will vary based on order volume.
Pay: Based on experience.
Maintaining an organized and clean all shop departments.
Responsibility Summary: The following is an outline of this position's major areas of responsibility:
Efficiently and productively design floral bouquets plant arrangements, etc. to the specifications of our customer and the policies of this organization.
Process incoming orders within the computer system and print out tickets
Maintain an organized and clean work station and department
Record low levels of supplies, hard goods, and fresh & plant components and report to purchasing manager or care and handling lead for replenishment
Assist in production preparation & set up containers, green containers, etc. as deemed necessary by the design or operations manager
Assist the Design Manager with any clerical needs necessary
Perform as a strong 1st in charge when the design manager is unavailable
Continually strive to improve The Flower Bucket's floral design department
Communicate and interact with other team members in a harmonious way to promote a strong team working relationship
Be available and willing to help in any The Flower Bucket department when necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
