SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Branch Manager at the Main Office is responsible for overseeing the largest team of staff, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service. This role includes managing Customer Service Representatives, Tellers, and Universal Bankers, as well as overseeing vault transactions and cash ordering. The Branch Manager ensures the branch operates efficiently, complies with regulatory standards, and meets financial goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and manage the branch team, providing guidance, training, and support to Customer Service Representatives, Tellers, and Universal Bankers.
- Ensure the branch delivers high-quality customer service and resolves customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee vault transactions and manage cash ordering to ensure adequate cash flow and security.
- Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and reinforce goals.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch financial targets and operational goals.
- Represent the bank in community activities to enhance its public image and market presence.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Performs additional duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- 6-8 years of experience in the banking industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Work will occasionally be done outside in all weather conditions.
