THE GROUP HOME MANAGER will support individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities to be active members in their communities and complete general activities of daily living.
Job Responsibilities
The Group Home Manager participates and supervises the home's Direct Support Professionals in all aspects of direct client care as described in the participant's programs, ISP and/or needs including, but not limited to:
- Activities of daily living (ADL)
- Socialization
- Development of interpersonal relationships, self-preservation skills, communication skills, habilitation skills
- Personal hygiene
- Transportation
- Life role modeling
- Supervise and monitor appropriate records pertaining to participant's needs
- Supervise and monitor financial records/medical documentation according to The Fogarty Center policy/procedure, State and Federal Regulations
- Supervise and maintain all household responsibilities
- Conduct staff meetings
- Perform and complete other duties as assigned by your supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in related human service field or equivalent experience
- Current driver’s license
- Adequate auto insurance coverage
- Safe driving record
- Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment
