POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring compassionate delivery of The Market programs as well as data collection and reporting. Further, this position works collaboratively with other members of The Market team and The Food Bank.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, load and unload deliveries.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint or other presentation software.
- Food Safety Certification (ServSafe) must be secured within first year of employment.
- Must have valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance.
- Associate's degree or 3 years of experience in a related field.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in serving neighbors and manage intake process by training volunteers on proper intake procedures; resolving intake concerns; and accurately entering new customer’s information into our data tracking system.
- Maintain the neighbor data tracking system to ensure accuracy.
- Provide new neighbors with information about Market Processes.
- Coordinate the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) by:
- receiving applications and determining eligibility;
- maintaining waitlist paperwork;
- stocking product;
- assisting with distribution;
- maintaining active participant list and files;
- staying current on policies and procedures;
- preparing and mailing letters to participants, as needed; and
- communicate delivery of CSFP boxes to participants as needed.
- Answer The Market’s main phone and direct calls.
- Coordinate VIP Veteran Box programs.
- Assist the Neighbor Services Lead in recruiting, scheduling, orienting, directing, and coordinating neighbor services volunteers (including Community Service and Program Workers) to perform daily Market activities, such as greeting, checking in guests, and bagging groceries.
- Assist in tracking and accurately recording local donations received and distributed through The Market.
- Stock shelves and support other warehouse tasks as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $15 - $16.50 per hour
