The Meat and Seafood Manager works under the supervision of the Store Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Meat and Seafood Department, achieving positive financial operating results, excellent customer service, and offering top quality foods consistent with the Food Co-op’s values and mission.
Highlights of Required Experience and Abilities:
- Three or more years of supervisory experience, in related field such as retail meat management
- Three or more years of experience in commercial preparation of meat, poultry, or seafood
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in budgeting, ordering, planning, and scheduling
- Valid Food Worker Card issues in WA, or acquire within 2 weeks of hire
- Natural and/or organic foods experience helpful
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.47 - $43.01 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- commercial meat, seafood or poultry: 3 years (Preferred)
