We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an accurate waitlist during busy periods.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and turnover.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
