This role is focused on developing and enriching a strong corporate and community volunteer base for several ongoing events. This is a great role for an individual who has a year of experience creating volunteer training programs and conducting a broad scope of outreach and is looking to work with a mission driven organization committed to community support.
Responsibilities Include:
- Engage with community members and corporations to develop volunteer engagement
- Assess volunteer needs based on programming and establish training modules
- Maintain volunteer event scheduling and outreach
- Assist with strategic program planning and volunteer initiatives
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of volunteer engagement experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Resourcefulness, ability to work independently, and think creatively
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
