What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Case Manager position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a professional Litigation Case Manager candidate to join a collaborative, mid-size DC law firm. This individual will assist the litigation team with cite-checking, preparing documents for filing with courts and federal agencies, and will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare documents for court filings and agency filings
- Edit, proofread, and cite-check documents
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, outside agencies, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
- Conduct research utilizing legal databases and other electronic search tools
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 6 years of legal assistant or case management experience
- Excellent bluebook cite-checking experience
- Professional communication skills
- Experience with Westlaw, LEXIS, and other legal databases
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
