JOB SUMMARY:
Provides exceptional service to members and guests during meals to ensure a pleasurable dining experience at The Field & River Club.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures that all members and guests are greeted and welcomed by the wait staff and treated in a friendly and respectful manner in accordance with The Ford Field & River Club's standards of excellence.
- Is knowledgeable of and communicates information about the cuisine prepared by the chefs to assist members and guests in ordering meals.
- Is knowledgeable of items on the wine list and able to make recommendations to assist members and guests in ordering.
- Conveys accurate information to the kitchen staff regarding requests made by the members and guests.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous food service experience required, preferably in an upscale, fine dining establishment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
- Must have polished and professional appearance.
