Inventory Specialist

Overview

• Performs tasks related to the movement, restocking and accounting of items stored in various locations. Responsibilities can include compiling and maintaining records, identifying types of supplies, and suggesting re-order points for revolving stock.
• Maintains inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration date of pharmaceuticals
• Fills/stocks medications in various automated devices and storage locations
• Operates various types of pharmacy automation, including, but not limited to, Autofill devices; Baker Cells; Kalish cells, A-frames; repackaging equipment; electronic scales.
• Read computer screens, use scanning equipment, select specific drugs/products required to fill an order by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC) number.

Qualifications

• High School (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Four years of experience
• Must be able to understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Have basic typing and PC computer skills.
• Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when required; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time (8-10 hours), stoop, reach upward and withstand various types of repetitive motion inherent in the various tasks to be performed.

Hours of Operation

• Shawnee: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM (staggered start times) Monday through Friday
• Chelmsford: 6:00 AM -2:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Lancaster: 6:00 AM – 2:30 and 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Hines, IL: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday through Friday
• Ladson, SC: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday through Friday; and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday through Friday

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
