The Fort Worth Club is currently seeking full-time Line Cook to join our Culinary Team.
The Fort Worth Club has been recognized as one of the 2019 Platinum Clubs of America and named #6 for city clubs nationwide. Adapting to the Clubs Platinum Standards is a must. The club operates three scratch kitchens and a full-service bakery. The Ala Carte kitchen is open 6 days per week including breakfast, lunch and dinner. This kitchen services three dining rooms as well as a sports bar. The Culinary team manages a rooftop garden to supply fresh and organic produce including peppers, strawberries herbs and tomatoes.
The culinary team consists of 35 cooks and stewards, 7 are ACF certified. A strong interest in Culinary Arts and a good work ethic is required. Plenty of opportunity exists for the right individual to move up and assume additional responsibility as earned.
The club open Monday through Saturday and is closed on some major holidays including Christmas, New Years, and the Fourth of July.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for preparing items for their assigned station on a daily basis.
- Handle guest requests personally and/or refer as appropriate.
- Prepare and properly garnish all food orders in accordance with menu specifications.
- Prepare sauces, soups and hot entrées in accordance with the menu.
- Drive for results: Work to achieve high levels of personal and organizational performance in order to meet or exceed objectives.
- Assist with buffet and theme night setups, if needed.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to eight or more hours per day.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and/or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Hearing and talking sufficiently enough to communicate with members, guests, vendors, and co-workers.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficiently enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
A degree from an associate’s program and or certified apprenticeship program is preferred along with a minimum of two to three years of experience in a reputable private club, hotel or free standing restaurant.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
Must be a US Citizen or hold an approved federal work visa.
Salary : $14 - $17
