What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at The Forum?
The line cook is responsible for cooking and plating all orders placed by the front of the house. They ensure every item is completed exactly to Cooper’s Food and Drink specifications. On a typical shift, the line cook(s) set up and stock their station, complete any line cook prep assigned, and cook all orders promptly. Line cooks always follow all health department standards. They restock and fully clean and sanitize their station at the end of their shift. They keep their work area clean, dry, and sanitized throughout their shift. Line cooks work in tandem with each other to fulfill all orders communicating clearly with each other throughout the day. In downtime the line cook(s) assist the prep cooks and dishwashers with keeping their areas clean and sanitary.
