Technology Advisor

The Founder Palace is seeking a seasoned Technology Advisor in the software and mobile applications industry to guide the development and growth of our internal technology projects as well as the external portfolio startups. You will play a pivotal role in advising our leadership team on technical direction, assisting with the recruitment and development of our engineering team, and ensuring our software and app development processes are efficient and scalable. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building high-quality software products in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.Key Responsibilities :

• Technology Strategy : Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute a technology strategy that aligns with our product vision and business goals.
• Team Building & Development : Advise on building a high-performing tech team, from recruitment and onboarding to developing team skills and establishing a positive team culture.
• Software & App Architecture : Guide the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software and mobile application architectures. Help define the tech stack and ensure it meets the needs of current and future product developments.
• Product Development : Provide technical expertise in the development of both software and mobile applications, helping ensure features are designed, implemented, and launched on time, within scope, and at high quality.
• Process Improvement : Help establish best practices for software development, testing, and agile methodologies. Ensure that development processes are efficient and effective.
• Mentorship & Leadership : Provide mentorship to engineering leaders and team members, helping them develop both technical skills and leadership qualities.Requirements :
• Proven experience as a senior technical leader (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering) in software or app development.
• Strong background in building, leading, and scaling tech teams, including hands-on experience with recruiting, training, and developing engineering talent.
• Expertise in software development and mobile app development frameworks, preferred but not required in : Front-End : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native. Dev Tools : GIT, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. Back-End : Docker, Cloud services (AWS, Azure), Supabase, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Strong experience with agile methodologies, CI / CD pipelines, version control systems, and testing frameworks.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in scaling software applications and mobile apps for growth and high traffic.
• Prior experience advising startups, particularly in SaaS, mobile apps, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of app store submission processes (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.) and best practices.
• Previous experience in a CTO or VP of Engineering role within a startup.Compensation & Benefits :
