Job Summary:
The Guest Services Manager at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is a management role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the guest services department. This includes ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, managing a team of guest service associates, and collaborating with other hotel departments to provide exceptional service to our guests. This is a full-time, salaried position, compensation is between 60-65k per year based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the guest services department, including front desk, concierge services and luggage services.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any guest concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Train and manage a team of guest service associates, ensuring they are knowledgeable and capable of providing excellent service to guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
- Monitor and maintain the guest services budget, including staffing and supply expenses.
- Implement and maintain guest service standards and procedures.
- Respond to guest complaints and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating guest service associates.
- Conduct regular department meetings and communicate any pertinent information to team members.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute promotions and packages to attract guests.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events to assist guests with their inquiries.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby area is clean, inviting, and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a guest service or front desk management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Experience with budget management preferred.
