What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Health & Pharmacovigilance Technician position at The Fountain Group?
Details for the position are as follows:
- 6-month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and budget.
- Location: Rahway, NJ (Hybrid) Must be able to attend the site at least 3 days per week. Required Days: Tuesday and Wednesday. May choose Monday or Thursday as third day. Can work from home on Friday.
- Rate: $28-32 an hour
- Reviewing, approving, and submitting individual case safety reports (ICSRs) for assigned products
- Monitoring and tracking key pharmacovigilance (PV) team metrics
- Managing the archiving and maintenance of PV documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Providing administrative support across a range of PV activities
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and submission of aggregate adverse event reports
- Additional participation in PV projects may be requested based on team needs and in alignment with the manager.
- Veterinary technology/technician degree OR BA/BS or equivalent degree in a relevant field OR Associates degree or equivalent with prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong written and oral communication
- Able to assimilate technical information
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and punctuality in meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Prior pharmacovigilance experience
- Proficiency with other computer software applications (e.g., SharePoint, learning management systems, document management systems).
- At least 1 year of experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical field
Salary : $28 - $32
