Job Description:
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled research specialist to join our team as a contractor, providing expertise in in vitro and in vivo techniques with a focus on neuromuscular diseases.
- This position will support ongoing research efforts and exploratory work, including experiments that require proficiency in in vivo work, molecular biology techniques and cell culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to support neuromuscular research initiatives.
- Perform cell culture, cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, providing insights to the research team.
- Maintain meticulous lab records and adhere to all laboratory safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD
- 3 years in vivo rodent work & rodent handling
- Ex-Vivo & In Vitro skills
- RNA, Protein, & Cell Line Work
- Necropsy
- Rodent dosing highly preferred (IV, IP, Subcutaneous, etc.)
- GraphPad and/or electronic notebook experience is nice to have
Compensation: $36-56 per hour depending on experience
