We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Production Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Henderson, CO Details for the position are as follows :
- 23hr based on previous experience.
- This is an onsite position.
- 12 month contract - (potential to extend or convert based on performance & budget).
- Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
- Assisting in the teardown of high horsepower diesel engines.
- This job role rotates employees through the disassembly of the engine, cleaning of the components, and inspection of the parts to prepare them for the next stage in production.
- Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.
- Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Performs quality inspections.
- Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
