The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Failure Analysis Lab Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA. Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

  • Pay : $46.30hr - (W2)
  • Shift : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Monday to Friday (Onsite).
  • 6-month assignment (with potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget).
  • Work collaboratively with Failure Analysis and Engineering Teams.
  • Perform essential day to day lab activities.
  • Primary Tasks :

Inventory management.

  • Basic system SW configuration.
  • Maintain lab equipment.
  • HW test setup.
  • Escalation report priority.
  • Daily device logistics.
  • Maintain lab consumables.
  • General lab maintenance.
  • General reporting.
  • Scrap device management.
  • Assist and observe Compliance / Reliability 3rd party lab interaction.
  • Entry level FA
  • FA rework.
  • Maintain Tech-Ops environmental chamber scheduling and calibration.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates / Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5yrs of experience working in a similar role.
  • Must understand Networking protocols for the lab environment.
  • Familiar with Google Suite,Looker Studio, Spreadsheets and Word documents.
  • Complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Basic Technical skills ( PCBA debug, Linux, Debug, Networking).
  • Self Motivated.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communication skills.
