The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Forklift Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New Milford, CT . Details for the position are as follows :
Payrate : $21 / hr W2
Job Description :
12-month contract.
Shift : Mon-Fri; 7am – 3pm.
High School Diploma / GED.
Must be comfortable driving a forklift and performing shrink wrapping duties.
Steel toed shoes required.
Material Handling experience.
Inventory control, cycle count, software to track, document inventories.
Job Responsibilities :
Loading and unloading finished product.
Maintain both productivity and quality performance standards while performing all work tasks.
Maintain both accuracy and completeness on all required paperwork.
Follow all WMS / procedures (loading / unloading / damage etc.) for the recording and tracking of product to insure inventory accuracy.
Maintain housekeeping standards for both work area and department.
Maintain safe operating procedures for all equipment required to perform work tasks.
Operate workstations (OLWS) - Produce palletized products.
Consolidate bays, forward stage product, and perform other warehouse support functions.
Ability to accomplish warehouse support functions with one-time work direction and little, or no, supervision.
Follows storage practices that meet department standards.
Remove and Store Product from Output Lines, Stores product at standard rates of operation.
Work safely; identify and resolve safety issues. Always follows safety procedures, uses PPE, locks equipment out, watches out for co-workers, take two, cut no corners, get help when needed.
