What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at The Fountain Group?
- Pay: 28.00-33.00/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year contract to start with potential for extension or conversion.
- Experience with calibration/maintenance activities since this role will focus more in in this area.
- This group supports analytical research and development labs. This group does not actually perform lab work but helps oversee the equipment and systems in the lab. They are also the local administrators for LIMS and other laboratory IT systems.
- Day to Day: 'escorting' laboratory equipment vendors, supporting the lab equipment maintenance, reviews calibration data / maintenance reports from vendors, onboarding new equipment with suppliers, assisting with basic computer system validation, some support of lab equipment calibration, receiving and / logging of sample inventory in LIMS, submitting service requests to laboratory equipment suppliers.
Salary : $28 - $33
