What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at The Fountain Group?

Pay : $25 / HR to $28 / HR (Depending on shift)

1st Shift : Monday - Friday (7 : 00am-3 : 30pm)

2nd shift : Monday - Friday (2 pm - 10 : 30 pm)

some Saturday as needed)

Job Responsibilities :

Manage raw material and non-stock receipts, finished goods distribution, and coordinate material movement between the warehouse and production areas.
Pick and prepare sales orders following specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Physically receive and log materials, supplies, and equipment from other departments, business units, small parcel carriers, and LTL couriers.
Pick and prepare Internal Transfer Requests (ITRs) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) orders according to SOPs.
Generate cycle count lists and conduct inventory counts.
Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as required.
Store, transfer, and distribute materials per specific requirements.

Skill Requirements :

Possess foundational skills to perform the tasks at this level with detailed instructions provided for all work.

Work under close supervision with work reviewed upon completion.

Physical Demands :

Lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).

Work in temperature-controlled rooms.
