The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician III and IV for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Whitaker, NC Details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
Pay : Dependent on experience
Level III : $25-$34 / hr
Level IV : $35-$44 / hr
Assignment : 7-month assignment , temp to perm depending on budget and performance.
Shift : 6PM-6 : 30AM (5 Days one week, 2 Days following week). Overtime during long week!
Responsibilities include :
Mechanical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation
Activities, welding, utilizing measurement tools, perform equipment alignment, disassemble, and rebuild pumps, cylinders and be very familiar with hand tools and safe usage.
Operate within a team-based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development.
Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs mechanical and minor electrical work.
Willingness to learn PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent required , associate's degree preferred.
5 years' experience in related fields required .
GMP experience is a plus.
