Network Engineer Senior
- Location: Preference to candidates local to Greater Chicago, but open to fully remote candidates in CST or EST times zones.
- Shift: 1st shift with occasional off hours meetings or operational support
- 6-9 month assignment
- Interview process with be virtual via MS Teams.
- Pay: $57-73/hr on W2.
- Prepares review analysis, capacity planning and recommendations of the existing network infrastructure and related security processes.
- Contributes in escalation services for network related mission critical systems on a rotational basis.
- Maintains network infrastructure hardware including ongoing software/firmware patches and upgrades.
- Conducts network architecture design, viability and cost studies.
- Analyzes and maintains network health monitoring and notification tools.
- Provides review analysis, capacity planning and enhancement recommendations of the existing network infrastructure and related security processes.
- May lead project implementation.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience.
- **Experience in Cisco and Palo Alto desired**
- Excellent communication skills

- Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications
