We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Receiving Inspection CMM Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Houston TX Details for the position are as follows :
- 48hr based on previous experience.
- This is an onsite position. Shift schedule Monday - Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
- 12 months initially (possibility of extending or converting based on performance, budget, and need).
- Create metrology programs using Calypso 2021 software for Zeiss Contura and O-Inspect CMMs
- Create standard work instructions and report templates to ensure a high quality and robust inspection process
- Perform measurements to support the Gage R&R analysis of inspection routines
- Hands-on support of Incoming Inspection and Molding to confirm visual and dimensional Out of Specifications of components
- Promote cooperation and teamwork within the Quality Control department through open, candid communication and timely coordination.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated experience in using Calypso 2021 software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to fluently read, write, and understand and communicate in English
