The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Drafting Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Painted Post, NY. Details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
Pay : $25-$27 / hour on W2.
Shift : 1st Shift, M-F with overtime as needed.
Assignment : 10-months – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.
Scope :
The Drafting Technician will be responsible for giving support to engineers involved in the design, development and testing of industrial thermal process equipment. The Technician will also update and revise existing equipment drawings and documents, support equipment installations, and procure material and process equipment. Software used in this role are AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Qualifications :
2-year technical degree or equivalent required .
1 years CAD Tech experience, or entry level engineering experience required .
Must be proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks – 2nd round interview will require an assessment to be completed.
Salary : $25 - $27
