Personal Care Aide (FullTime)

Shift: Afternoon/Overnight
Overview:
The Fountains/Gardens at DuBois is hiring a caregiver to join our team in providing care to residents at our care facilities (either in our personal care or memory care facility). This role would be working the 2ndshift. Associated training and education is provided to new hires. This position is full-time only.
Responsibilities:
- Working with residents, learning their stories, and spending time making sure they feel cared throughout the day/or night.
- Providing immobile, recovering, or frail residents with support, company, and comfort.
- Dispensing medications, administering treatments, and assisting with exercise routines as prescribed.
- Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients to relevant parties.
- Providing support with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engaging residents in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
- Providing mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Light housekeeping and tiding up.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience with personal care
- Diabetes certification
- Medication administration certification
- First Aid CPR Training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
