Infection Control Nurse/Staff Development

We are seeking an Infection Control/Staff Development nurse who is as passionate about the care that their team provides to our residents as we are. You will support and practice the philosophy, objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing and participate in the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality care to all patients/residents.

In this role you will:

· Participate in staff development/training, infection control

· Conduct resident rounds to assess an/or supervisor nursing care, assess condition of residents and ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

· Work in establishing and facilitating effective employer/employee relations

· Participate in associate evaluations and administers disciplinary action as requested

Requirements

• Current active RN or LPN licensure in the state where employed.
• BSN / MSN degree preferred.
• Three to five years progressive management experience in a long-term, sub-acute or post-acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible work hours to support state and federal resident care requirements.
• Superior customer service aptitude and approach.

· Must be able to understand the dominant language of the facility, English, must be able to speak, read and write English.

· Must be able to work at a fast pace, independently and as a team member with the ability to complete all job tasks within assigned time

· Must be able to demonstrate good sound judgment in every interaction especially when rendering care to a resident

Employment is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check in accordance with state regulations
