The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for assisting the residents within the roles of the Life Enrichment Department in accordance with current standards, guidelines, regulations, and company policies and procedures, and as directed by the Life Enrichment Director. The role of an assistant is to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet,
in accordance with the assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychological well- being of each resident. An activities assistant also works as a driver for the Life Enrichment Program following a flexible schedule for all activities.- Provide programming to residents while assessing leisure and recreational needs.
- Develop, maintain and coordinate a monthly program of purposeful and meaningful activities that support residents’ dignity, preference, and choice.
- Develop effective community working relationships with colleges, universities, social organizations, churches, etc. to provide leisure, recreation, social, cultural and spiritual programs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
