Coffee Barista

As a coffee connoisseur team member, you are the liaison from product to customer. This candidate is responsible for making an excellent coffee and offering an exceptional treat to incoming guests. This person takes pride in customer experience, guest satisfaction, and focus and understands the importance of a friendly welcome. Our Coffee Connoisseurs are the start of the day, a break in the day, and can be the way guests end their day, so greeting them with a smile and an amazing cup of coffee is a MUST!

This person will report to the Excellence in General Manager; Sarah Dillon or in his absence, COO; Brooke Papp.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers in an upbeat and friendly manner and taking their food and drink order

• Preparing and serving beverages to the highest standard

• Answering questions customers may have regarding food and drink choices or details

• Offering recommendations and promoting options

• Handling payment from customers and placing attention to detail upon careful transactions

• Keeping excellent care of Foxi Coffee equipment and maintaining cleanliness

• Keeping the work environment sanitary and up to code

• Maintaining organized inventory

• Offering suggestions for quality of service and efficient practices taken from guest interactions/feedback

• Promoting the business with an enthusiastic attitude and creating an environment reminiscent of ‘feeling at home’

• Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime

Qualifications:

• Ability to memorize and execute drink orders while properly utilizing equipment

• Practice efficiency, organizational skills, and cleanliness practices

• Possess the drive to build relationships with guests and provide beyond-exceptional customer service

• Team Player who listens well and communicates effectively and in a friendly manner

• Understands basic safety procedures and respects equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
