Henny Penny Art Space and Cafe is looking for Bakers!
The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, self-motivated, alert and active in the workplace. They will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills while being flexible and ready to learn.
Previous bakery or kitchen experience preferred, but we will train the right person!

Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Posses a strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate safe and sanitary working habits
- Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Must communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters
- Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form donuts, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products.
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Baker a plus, but not required
