Learning Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Specialist to join our Training and Development team. This critical role will be responsible for the full learning cycle, from needs assessment and curriculum design to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of training programs. You will play a key part in developing our workforce by creating engaging and effective learning experiences across the organization, including new hire orientation, continuous improvement initiatives, on-the-job training, and leadership development programs. This position also involves mentoring and guiding other Learning Specialists. Collaboration with various departments is essential to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and identify key development areas.
- Design, develop, and implement engaging learning solutions using a variety of methods, including classroom/virtual training, on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring, and e-learning.
- Create and maintain training materials, leveraging multimedia resources like interactive videos and digital simulations.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), track training completion, and analyze training metrics.
- Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement of learning programs based on data analysis and feedback.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other Learning Specialists.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery, preferably in a corporate learning and development environment, ideally within manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in a variety of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and content authoring tools.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with LMS administration and tracking training metrics.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, practices, and technology is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
