The Corporate Business Office is seeking a dynamic and talented Operations Specialist. This position supports the patient online payment application by collaborating with end users and the vendor hosting the application on issue resolution or product enhancements. The Operations Specialist will triage reported issues, research, and open tickets with the vendor as needed. Additionally, this role involves monitoring Revenue Cycle performance and reporting issues using third-party vendor management performance and reconciliation reporting tools. Other responsibilities include creating and updating workflow documentation as needed. The Operations Specialist will also manage tickets for Revenue Cycle issues that require involvement from other departments.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Run existing reports and evaluate results from the vendor management tool, providing management with regular updates on third-party Revenue Cycle vendor performance. Work with agencies and regional offices to resolve issues involving performance reporting or reconciliation.
- Support the online patient payment application for Revenue Cycle. This involves working with end users and the vendor to research reported issues, opening tickets with the vendor, and following through to resolution. Serve as the point of contact with the vendor for enhancements or upgrades.
- Open and manage all internal tickets or requests regarding issues requiring external team involvement.
- Create and maintain vendor management workflow documentation.
## Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree is required, with 3-5 years of related experience; however, significant experience (5 years) will be accepted in lieu of education. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in report analysis, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to interpret data trends. Preferred experience includes functional knowledge of revenue cycle collections, healthcare, or a related field. Required skills encompass professional written and verbal communication, as well as proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Word. The ability to meet deadlines and multitask is essential, along with intermediate logical deduction skills and the capability to solve most problems independently.
