  • Along with competitive compensation, we offer competitive benefits that would be expected including medical/Rx, vision and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, disability & life insurance, etc.
  • Primary Purpose: As a Yard Load Builder, your primary responsibility will be to safely assemble packages of various building materials from our lumberyard inventory. You'll play a crucial role in staging materials for delivery to customers while providing a high level of customer service. Your role also involves assisting customers in loading their materials and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Day in the Life: Our day kicks off at 7:00 a.m. with a lively morning huddle. During this time, we prioritize safety, discuss our daily plans, and keep everyone in the loop about company events. After our huddle, we engage in a quick stretching session to ensure we're physically ready for the day ahead.

Inventory Assistant:

Once limbered up, the day starts by assisting in receiving incoming products and staging materials for production/delivery and accompanying drivers on delivery. Once the deliveries requiring assistance are completed, we stock up for the next day, tidy up the warehouse, and handle any necessary housekeeping tasks.

Driver Helper: Driver helpers pair up with their assigned driver. Together, they check the delivery route, ensuring everything

is in order. Once the truck is fully loaded and ready to roll, it's time to hit the road.

Out on the job site, Driver Helpers provide invaluable assistance. They help drivers navigate tricky maneuvers, back up when needed, and ensure safety at all times. When it comes to unloading materials, they do so efficiently and neatly at each stop. Additionally, they assist in finding job sites in unfamiliar areas and maintain a vigilant eye for any potential safety concerns.
