Franklin Building Supply is a lumber and building material company that has been in business for more than 45 years. We have locations spread across Idaho and one in Nevada.
We supply just about everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. Along with providing materials, we install a wide range of products including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, and more. We also manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Primary purpose : Install various types of insulating materials in residential or commercial structures.
Key Skills and Responsibilities :
Safety and Quality Assurance : Safely load materials and inspect products for defects to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Material Handling and Delivery : Deliver insulation materials to job sites and unload products in an orderly and secure manner.
Surface Preparation : Prepare work surfaces before installation to ensure proper adherence and functionality.
Installation Expertise : Install a variety of insulation materials efficiently and accurately, following specifications.
Team Collaboration : Provide support to crew members and foremen to complete projects effectively.
Customer and Subcontractor Interaction : Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when communicating with customers and subcontractors.
Requirements :
Essential Skills and Qualifications :
Valid Driver’s License : Must have a clean driving record and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
Equipment Operation : Able to operate a forklift (certification required).
Physical Agility : Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawl spaces or attics) and at heights (off ladders). Capable of enduring long hours of standing, bending, and kneeling.
Punctuality and Reliability : Disciplined to meet deadlines and arrive on time.
Safety Awareness : Avoids procrastination and prioritizes safety in all tasks.
Communication Skills : Communicates clearly, directly, and transparently with teammates and clients.
Problem-Solving Ability : Independently identifies and resolves issues with minimal supervision.
Self-Motivation and Stamina : Maintains focus and energy to consistently deliver outstanding results.
Adaptability and Flexibility : Adjusts schedules as needed to accommodate unplanned urgencies.

Construction Knowledge (Preferred) : General understanding of construction processes is a plus.
