TITLE : Cator Woolford Gardens Special Event Crew CATEGORY : Part-time, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO : Site Manager & Special Event Manager DEPARTMENT : Gardens
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS :
CWG special event crew members represent The Cator Woolford Gardens at Frazer Center during special events. Crew members maintain a welcoming, positive, and professional attitude at all times, while exemplifying the inclusive mission of the Frazer Center.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepare venue for special events, including opening venue and setting up equipment.
Assist with breakdown of event space and equipment
Transport guests and vendors on property grounds, via golf carts
Assist with ensuring compliance with SLUP (special land use permit)
Ensure cleanliness of venue and equipment for events, and prior to departure after events
Assist with executing events as specified on the planning session documentation, ensuring all requirements are met
Prepare venue for events to be held the next day, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Attention to detail
Strong customer service skills
Ability to stand, lift, and walk for periods of time
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS :
Reports to the Site Manager, in conjunction with the Special Event Manager
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Event related work
Customer service experience
Valid Georgia Driver's License
High School Diploma / GED
